Oluwarotimi Oluwatoyinbo

An accomplished Civil Engineer whose start-up, Elshworks successfully delivered on some laudable projects across the landscape of Nigeria. Rotimi heads a growing consultancy firm, ElshCap which has been responsible for supporting start-ups for Nigerians in Canada, organized business exploratory trips to Canada, and delivered on a lot of laudable initiatives. One of Rotimi’s clients has not only established but also being selling businesses in Canada. He started an initiative with the Newfoundland and Labrador provincial government and the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture which would see the development of an integrated farming estate involving the immigration of dozens of small and medium scale Nigerian farmers.
Rotimi’s astute personality and about 3 years of studying a few sectors of the Newfoundland and Labrador economy has led to some initiatives and developments. He volunteers for a provincial park, a socio-cultural organization, and an African, Caribbean and Black Community support group where his indelible marks have been commended. He will be speaking on “Why Canada?” at the Project Canada Seminar.

Tolu is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RC 705907). A graduate of Herzing College, Toronto where she obtained a Diploma in Immigration Consultancy, she heads a small team at Living Spring Immigration Services, an immigration Consultancy that has helped dozens realize their Canada immigration plans. She has recorded enviable success in her applications, employing deep research, objectivity, and a highly resourceful engagement on case-by-case basis. Tolu is a member in good standing with the Immigration Consultant of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC-CRCIC).
Tolu also serves as a consultant with the largest Immigration Consultancy firm in the province and has credible change management deliveries at the firm. She has handled application in some immigration streams including temporary residence (work, study, visit), permanent residence (Canadian Economic Class, spousal sponsorship, business). She has also processed Employer Portal, Citizenship, Provincial Nomination Programs for different provinces and a few others.

A professional real estate advisor who has consistently reached sales level only reached by a small percentage of Realtors worldwide. In 2014, his sales accomplishments afforded him induction into the prestigious RE/MAX Hall of Fame. He repeated sales record feats with Royal LePage in 2016 and 2017. Derek has also succeeded with Telecommunication sales right from the mid-1990s first with AT&T Canada Residential Sales in Toronto, and then with Telus Communications Inc. Business Services in Calgary, Alberta. He floated and grew a residential renovations company in 1991 and then, within 3 years established RDC Windows, Doors & Roofing, a renown and successful company where he branched into commercial and industrial sectors in Durham, Ontario.
Derek loves giving back to the community and has volunteered in various capacities and through key partnerships including the Newfoundland Association of Realtors, and a moribund high school volleyball team he revived and won tournaments with producing players for senior high and University teams.
He also recently established HGO (His Glory Only) Online Stores where he merchandises in a lot of products. He has a working relationship with a lot of immigrants and has helped several of them in their Canadian integration. Derek will be speaking on “Making Ends Meet in Canada” at the Project Canada seminar.
